We are happy to announce that our Sermons are again available online! Our trusty cassette tape recorder that served us for so many years was experiencing problems and has finally been replaced with a digital recorder. We apologize to all who have missed our published online sermons and we hope our new recorder will server us for at least as many years as our retired cassette recorder. |

Communicating as a Community of Christ There is an ongoing discussion about the "Best" way to communicate as a community about all that Christ is doing through the ministry and mission that we share together. For the longest time, that was through the traditional mailing of a newsletter. The called ministry leaders and the mission and ministry church council of Ascension have, over the past months, benn getting mixed feedback about just how different people desire to receive this type of communication. We recently were informed that we do not have a high enough number of families and ministry partners on our mailing list to use "Bulk Mail" without mailing between 80 and 90 extra newsletter to a single address (for instance, to the church secretary's home). In response to this information and with the desire to be good stewards with regards to the financial gifts of this congregation, the mission and ministry church council is looking at ways to reduce the costs and one area that it appears we can do this is the monthly newsletter. So we are asking you to let us know how you would like to receive your newsletter.
