Ascension Lutheran Preschool offers a dedicated and well-educated staff with extensive experience working with children. Background checks are performed on each staff member and every staff member is CPR and First Aid certified. Our new building and playground meet all of the regulations by the State of Utah Division of Childcare, the Fire Department, and local Health Department. We are a Peanut free facility. We are committed to creating a safe, fun, and nurturing Christian environment for our students and their families.
Our preschool curriculum is designed to instill in our children Christian values through Bible lessons, prayers, Christian songs, academic skills, and social relationships. A new theme is introduced each month and units are built around the theme. This will give the children a variety of experiences in using small and large motor skills, music and movements, arts and crafts, academic centers, free-play, stories, and self-expression.
Enrollment
Enrollment is open to children who are 3 or older as of September 1st, to be consistent with Weber County and Ogden City School Districts. Children must be potty trained. Ascension Lutheran Preschool does not discriminate on the basis of sex, race, religion, or socio-economic standing. The classes will have no more than 12 students per class in the 3-year old classes, and no more than 15 students per class in the 4/5-year old classes. Click here to download an application.
